Cool haven is a more recent development from our hugely successful “Bell Tent” range.

Based on the Bell tent concept it offers simple accommodation but with the advantage of a large standing and living area in the front half of the tent.

This is achieved by a framework supporting the front portion of the tent. The framework allows for two large doorways with totally unobstructed full height access. Windows with zip down covers right across the front giving full panoramic vision at the front of the tent.

SPECIFICATIONS

The tent is directed towards the more permanent camp but can easily be used as a family tent as packed down it takes up very little more space than a standard Bell Tent.

The Cool Haven is offered in 2 colour option, either beige or white.

100% Cotton 393gsm in weight, fire retardant to BS7837 (1996) water proofed and mildew proofed.

These tents are manufactured to our usual high standard with double sewn seams, ventilators in the roof and front. All points of strain are heavily reinforced.

All roof ventilators have rain cowels fitted.

All edges heavily reinforced with herringbone webbing, all guy ropes with rings to thread them into, this avoids wear on the canvas.

An Inner divider is available as an extra. The inner divider is suspended from the top of the pole and attached to the sides of the tent. It has 2 zip openings and provides 2 separate sleeping compartments. The inner divider is manufactured from fire retardant polyester.

Two groundsheet options are available. Both heavy duty PVC coated polyester.

A zipped in or a loose separate groundsheet.

Both the separate and zipped in groundsheet have a central joint so that the centre pole stands on the ground and not on the groundsheet. The joint is Velcro fastened together enabling the doorway section to be turned back during the day or to facilitate the removal of the whole groundsheet without the need to take out the centre pole.

Outer Tent

• The tent outer cover is available in two options
• 'All Season' residential fabric
• 'Poly-Cotton Fire Retardant' fabric
• A full colour range is available
• We would expect a tent life of 10 years from a tent made from residential fabric.
• Corporate branding can be offered with printing and logo's etc.

Inner Tent

• Inner tents are optional, with various design alternatives including individual inners, doubles or just screens.
• The centre pole is steel but we do have a wooden alternative available for the more traditionalists
• A new alternative is a removable groundsheet so that it can be cleaned without removing the inner tent itself. This means that the inner can actually be used without a groundsheet

All outer, inners poles and pegs are packed in strong valises for transportation and storage.
